Government today slapped anti-dumping duties on import of front axle beam and steering knuckles used in heavy and medium commercial vehicles as also three other products from China for five years. The duties have been imposed pursuant to recommendations of the Directorate General of Anti-dumping and Allied Duties, the Finance Ministry said in a statement, adding, the levies have come into effect from Wednesday.
